Educational Qualification: Bachelor Degree in Veterinary Science and Animal Husbandry. Provided that the persons possessing qualification of Ph.D. or M.V.Sc. in any of the Branches of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science shall be given preference. Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent standard.

Selection Process: COMPETITIVE EXAMINATION [will be held on 02/03/2014 (Sunday) (2:00 PM to 5:00 PM)] /
VIVA VOCE (INTERVIEW) [The objective of the Competitive Examination is to shortlist candidates for the interview]
Exam Details –> The Paper shall consist of 150 questions and each question shall carry 02 marks. There will be no negative marking.The objective type
multiple choice questions for the Competitive Examination shall be from the syllabus as detailed on the Commission's Website at
http://www.ppsc.gov.in/html/med14.asp. The standard of questions shall be of Graduation level. The minimum qualifying marks shall be 35% for the General Category candidates and 30% for all Reserve Category candidates.
Interview Details -> The Viva-Voce shall carry 40 marks and final result shall be prepared on the basis of the grand Total of the marks obtained by the candidates in the written Competitive Examination and the Viva-Voce. No candidate shall be called for the Viva-Voce unless he obtains the minimum benchmark i.e 35% for the General Category candidates and 30% for all Reserve Category candidates in the written Competitive Examination.
